My apologies to anyone who expects to find anything of interest to read or look at here. I’ve really neglected my blog lately. I think this is in a big part due to my letter writing (paper and ink) that has been taking place. I’m enjoying the depth of this type of correspondence, something a blog cannot really be the medium for, and it satiates my desire to write elsewhere. However, I will try to update my blog a little more frequently, at least with photos. (Unfortunately, I don’t have anything recent to offer at the moment. I haven’t uploaded from my camera in a while.)
However, before the end of the post I will share some old photos.
Let’s see, what to say?
Anna, our current au pair, has only three weeks left. She has been an incredible help and we will certainly miss her. She is a hard working girl and I’ve had to get used to delegating a lot of my jobs to someone else. Believe it or not, I actually found this hard at first, primarily out of habit. I feel like I’ve gotten used to this now (and maybe even a bit lazy?) so it will be an adjustment when she leaves. (Especially since I might be packing!)
We’ve had a lot of warm weather and the snow is melting fast. It’s incredible how much there still is, considering how much has melted! It’s that messy, soggy season of not really being winter and not really being spring. I’m ready to pack in the snow suits and skis, and bring out the bikes and running shoes!
I was going to share some more things but now everyone is back inside and Danica is tired. It’s smoothie time. Our ritual afternoon snack.
The last thing I will share is an album of photos from the house we stayed in one year ago. It’s funny how it’s come about, but we are really exited about buying it and things are looking good so far. Of course, there are some details to work out, but meanwhile……. for those who are curious about it I have a lot of pictures that were taken when we stayed there last March. I’ve labeled many of the photos to try to give you some orientation of the layout of the house and land. Click the collage to go to the set on Flickr where you can see enlarged photos and captions. We are SOOO excited!!
