Schoolhouse Rock

I came across this CD at the library, and WOW!  We are loving it! Everywhere we drive we listen through it once before starting onto audio stories.  Having grown up without a TV and then when we did get one having only CBC, I had no idea what Schoolhouse Rock was. Now I know.  Unfortunately, the CDs cost a fortune so I won’t be buying those. But  I’m going to buy the Schoolhouse Rock! (Special 30th Anniversary Edition) to play on our TV…. that we don’t have yet.

It is a DVD, you should be able to play that on your computer without a tv…

electric company was great for this too—our boys absolutely loved it—I am sure that between that show and sesame street, they all learned to read early because Lord knows, I did not teach them—-if you can access them, some of them are quite hilarious too===grandma b

WooHOO!! Schoolhouse Rock! Yet another great blast from the past. 😀

My favourite on this CD has to be “3 Is A Magic Number”. Have you heard any of the other CDs? They had series on English grammar, science and U.S. history, too. Taught me so much that I still remember.

I’ve heard they’ve got these videos on iTunes, but only the U.S. Store. 😛 Wonder if I can get them thru the Japan iTunes Store via wish list… hmm…

I’ve ordered a DVD which apparently has every song they ever did on it. It’s the 30th anniversary DVD. I’m thinking I can figure some way to get the songs into mp3 format and on my iPod.
