I bought Printing by Hand: A Modern Guide to Printing with Handmade Stamps, Stencils, and Silk Screensa while back and had lots of plans for projects. I couldn’t find rubber blocks for making our own stamps anywhere local, though, so it’s been on hold. However, re-inspired after a recent post by SouleMama, I ordered some supplies from Curry’s. Two days later they were here. Over the last three days the big boys have spent nearly ten hours carving rubber stamps. I’ve done as much as I can squeeze in.

I couldn’t resist these flowers at the farmer’s market on Friday morning.

And…. the big boys were determined to knit something in pink for their baby sister.  I was surprised about this since they’ve shown no interest in knitting since I first taught them.  We’ll see if it lasts.
