A Dog and His Boy

Jaska’s been inside a lot lately because we’re trying to keep him dry and low-key. He cut his foot on something early in the week (likely glass) while he and Graeme were out for their morning walk. He opened up a “knuckle” joint, nicked a tendon, and of course, gouged the surface. He’s such an outside dog. He likes to be out. But he’s being very calm for the most part and lying around a surprising amount. The rain seems to do that to him. Anyway, Noah is always taking things to Jaska to show him, reading him stories, and finding things to throw for him to catch. He’s often disappointed by Jaska’s lack of enthusiasm.
