Remembrance Day

DSC_0122.JPG On Sunday evening we had friends over for supper, followed by a music jam, and our own Remembrance Day service. We adults each gave a little contribution to the kids about what Remebrance Day is about, followed by Merrie playing The Last Post on the trumpet, a moment of silence, finishing up with Reveille on the trumpet.
After that the festivities continued and there ended up being some pretty lively dancing for the kids! I tried to capture the motion in this photograph.

Here’s the Harmonica Man.

Music was followed immediately with a hot tub. We nearly overflowed it. Good thing five of the nine hot tubbers were so little!
