I found the place that we’ll squat this summer until we get discovered and booted out.
I guess we could just rent a campsite!
We had some plans get cancelled and the only thing holding us home still was Zach’s fiddle lesson. We cancelled that and threw together some stuff and headed off. Initially, I was thinking of hitting a beach town (because I don’t know anything else), but while everyone was already loaded in the van, I was looking up some last minute Google directions and I saw a provincial park. I called. They had a designated dog beach too.
It was fabulous! We had a great afternoon. It was quite windy and the only problem with that is the sand that it whipped in our faces. Noah wasn’t thrilled, but it didn’t help that he was really tired too. Anyway, we were all tired and happy and sandy and wet when we headed home. It made for a late supper but it was so worth it. I can barely keep my eyes open now, so I’m signing off! Wishing you all many happy, spontaneous days!

Your beach looks a little warmer than ours!
But the wind…oh the wind. Beaches would be so much more pleasant without it! Oh well, we will enjoy the sunshine and happy days anyway!
where was the squatters campsite?????? Looks like you had an exceptionally warm day too—see ya soon—ma
Robyn, every day since this beach day has been at least as cold as your beach day by the look of the pictures!
Grandma Betty, we’ll tell you where the beach is when we see you soon!
Our beach still has ice. Yay for May Long camping!!
Okay, I may have exaggerated a bit there about the ice. It just feels that way (it did snow on Saturday though…)
If it makes you feel any better we had frost here last night and they’re calling for it again tonight.
