(Gabe is a jaguar, Toby is a snow leopard, Zach is a Tiger, I am a clouded leopard, and Ben is a “dragon that I made up”…. he did it himself.)
The last day of October, going to a costume party, and as usual we haven’t even discussed costumes. Gabe says (this morning), “Couldn’t you sew [...]

Story of the World
Posted in Books, Homeschool, Kids on Thursday, October 30, 2008 | 4 Comments »
We’ve had all of the Story Of The World audio CDs (read by Jim Weiss) for quite a while, and we finally started listening to them on a regular basis after settling in here. The big boys love them so much that I decided to order the Story Of The World Activity Books that go along with them. Having the [...]
Art Personality Test

I noticed a new “incoming link” to my blog and checked it out – Southpaugh Homeschool. At that time the most recent post was this art test, and I decided to take it too.
Since the test reports that I am Extroverted, Progressive, and Intelligent, of course I had to publicize that on my blog! [...]
Consume, Consume, Consume

And joy of joys, we were all out enjoying it. I have to [...]

We had a big city adventure this weekend. When Graeme got home on Friday we headed to Toronto. We stayed with friends in the GTA. On Saturday we went to a wood carving show and competition. It was held at the Blackcreek Pioneer Village, which also had some other “Halloween” stuff going on. The first [...]
A House of Straw

Jaska loves his new straw bale house! We had to pull him out to let Zach in to stuff the cracks with straw, and toss in the bedding. As soon as he could he was back inside nestling down in his new house. It is probably nostalgic for him!
I’m so happy he has a nice [...]
Extra Boys
Posted in Family, Friends, Kids on Thursday, October 23, 2008 | 1 Comment »
From Sunday evening to Tuesday evening we had two extra boys. They played hard. It was fun for everyone and my boys were sad when it was time for them to leave. It is great for these boys to have all gotten together and even greater – they will be moving here soon!
The boys built [...]
