Last week I took the boys to Hometown. Graeme had to work, of course, but the rest of us got a much needed “bush fix”. The boys met some new friends, three brothers who are all 7, and they had a blast. We ended up getting together three days in a row! We also played baseball, rode horses, played with cats and dogs, swung in the hammock, got muddy, played with uncles and auntie, grandparents, and great grandparents. It was fantastic.
Now we are slow-and-steady getting ready to head off for the summer. Two months “stuck” in the bush! I can hardly wait. The only bad part is that Graeme won’t be with us.
